Another benefit of these programs is that Melanie comes right to you or meets you in a neutral location for personal training sessions.
Zumba
Melanie is a licensed Zumba Instructor hosting moderately intensive classes that will alternate high-energy songs with slower tracks that have less demanding dance sequences. This method allows you to burn more calories, build greater endurance, and work on heart health. Zumba classes can help you build cardio endurance, flexibility, balance, core strength, and confidence in a fun and safe environment. The Body Quarry offers ongoing virtual (online) and in-person Zumba classes that are open for drop-in attendance, along with options to host private classes.
Senior Wellness
Senior wellness promotes physical health, cognitive function, and emotional well-being. Melanie strives to create programs and classes that incorporate both aerobic and strength components, while emphasizing balance exercises to reduce fall risks, as safety considerations play a crucial role in seniors feeling accomplished and successful in the effort they are putting in.
Line Dancing
Not only is Line Dancing fun and set to great music, it’s also an excellent form of exercise working your body, heart, and mind! In addition to challenging your mind with learning the choreography, you’re also getting in a heart-healthy workout with cardio, laughter, and new friends. Melanie creates a positive and fun atmosphere that helps you along your journey to an active and healthy lifestyle. The Body Quarry offers ongoing in-person line dancing classes that are open for drop-in attendance, along with options to host private classes.
Breathwork Coaching
Breathwork is a safe and fast way to relieve stress, boost digestion, balance your energy, and improve sleep. No experience of any kind is needed. The Body Quarry takes a very simple, science-based approach that is effective for everyone.
